What Is An Ebook?

What is an "E-book"?

An e-book is an electronic book that is delivered over the internet by means of a downloaded file, which is an instant delivery method that costs you nothing for shipping.

How Do I Read An Ebook?

All you need is the Adobe Reader software to view or print our e-books. Adobe Reader is a free software that is already installed on most computers, today. It is the software used by United States government websites to provide documents and is the standard software used by US businesses for information and document sharing. If you do not already have Adobe Reader on your computer, you may download it for free here

Can I Print An Ebook?

Yes, you may print any e-Book pages onto paper and place it in a binder for quick reference. You may also keep it as is for future viewing on your computer. There are active links in ebooks that can be clicked on or pressed to take the ebook reader to a website at any time.

Newer versions of Adobe Reader require that you give permission before viewing a website that is linked from an ebook. Giving permission allows you to visit the website and is to your benefit since the website is related to the information provided in the ebook.

Do you Provide Instructions On How To Download?

Yes, we do. We provide that information as seen here below and on the download page that contains the link to begin the download of your ebook to your computer.

Our downloads are safe and free of viruses and any spyware.

INSTRUCTIONS TO DOWNLOAD

Mac Users

Click on the link to download an eBook to your hard drive in a location of your choice. To read an eBook, simply double click on it and it will automatically open.

PC Users

If you're using a PC to download, do not just click on the link. This will, in some cases, open the eBook in your browser, rather than save it to your computer for later reading. Updated versions of Internet Explorer will not open the ebook but will automatically begin the download. The type and version of your browser does determine the exact action that will occur once you press or click any download link.

Use the following steps. First, put your mouse pointer over the download link. Then click the right mouse button. A menu will pop up which will include one of these options "Save as," "Save Link As" or “Save Target As." Hold the mouse pointer over one of these options and click the left mouse button. I recommend you choose “Save Target As”.

A window will come up that looks like this:

Choose where you want the file to be saved, and click on "Save." Make sure you note where you've stored the file.

If you're not sure how this works, look for the folder with the upward pointing arrow. In this picture, it's to the right of the word "System(C:)" at the top of the window. Click on this until "System(C:)" is replaced with "Desktop."

Then click "Save." When you look at your desktop, you'll find your eBook waiting for you.

2. To read an eBook in pdf format, you need the Free Acrobat Reader.

If you don't have Acrobat Reader installed, you can get it here. Make sure you download the version you need for your computer (PC, Mac, Linux)

Once you've downloaded the Acrobat Reader installation file, double click on it to install Acrobat reader. Once that's done, you're ready to read your ebook by simply clicking on the ebook or by opening Adobe Reader and then click Open File, find the ebook on your computer and click to open.

If you ever have any trouble with downloading, please be sure to Contact Us here and explain in great detail what you did and what happened so we can problem solve the issue for you.
